2009 State Tournament

The 2009 State Celebration of Cretivity will be held on March 28, 2009 at Manhattan Public Schools.  This year has been an effort to cooperate, understand messages, condense literature, solve mysteries, create new art forms and discover hidden worlds.  Twenty-five teams earned the right to compete in the state tournament for a chance to attend the Destination ImagiNation Global Finals in Knoxville, Tennessee, at the end of May.

 

Team Managers, Membership Coordinators, and Parents the schedule, maps, tournament information and forms are in the attachments below.  Please make sure everyone on your team(s) has a copy of this information.  If you need more copies of your tournament data forms you can access interactive ones at the Destination ImagiNation web site.

2008 State Celebration of Creativity Results

Congratulations to all teams for making it to the State Celebration! Presenting at the State Celebration is a great culmination for many teams, showing that they've overcome their challenge, and displayed their solution. Below are the results from the Celebration. Good luck to those that are advancing to Knoxville!

2008 State Celebration of Creativity

The 2008 State Celebration of Creativity will be held on March 29, 2008 at Manhattan Public Schools.  This year has been a wild ride with teams having to overcome obstacles, investigate myths, reveal secrets, perform chores, crush structures, and change history.  Thirty teams Montana teams from Rexford to Hardin will be competing in the state tournament to earn the right to attend the Destination ImagiNation Global Finals in Knoxville, Tennessee, at the end of May.

 Team Managers, Membership Coordinators, and Parents see the attachements to download the schedule and the information on what to bring.  The maps and additional information were mailed on March 12th.

Destination ImagiNation Fundraiser

To help celebrate 25 years of creativity Destination ImagiNation will be launching various grassroots fundraisers. For those of you who want to support Destination ImagiNation, Inc. and enjoy cooking, like to shop online, or want to get your holiday shopping done early and help out the program, please go to www.idodi.org , click on the DI Fundraiser button, and follow the instructions on the next page.   • Complete Online Tournament
    Registration Form and Online Appraiser Registration by December 15, 2007 to qualify for Early Bird Fee.
  • Deadline for Membership Application, Tournament and Appraiser Registration Forms & Fees - January 15, 2008.
  • Regional Instant Challenge Days - January (contact your Regional Director for Date and Location).
  • Regional Tournament - February (contact your Regional Director for Date and Location)
  • State Tournament - Manhattan - March 29, 2008
  • Global Finals - Knoxville, Tennessee - May 21-24, 2008

Membership Application

You can now renew your passport or apply for a new membership at Shop DI or download an application at IDODI. You must purchase a passport before you can download any of the Challenges, Rules of the Road or Guides. The fee for a single team passport is $110. A 5-pak (five team) passport application fee is $225. These fees are paid to Destination ImagiNation, Inc. In addition it will be possible to order a additional CDs plus hard copies of the program materials for an additional $25 per set.
