The 2007 Global Finals Competition in Knoxville, Tennessee, May 23 – 26, was a successful culmination of the second year of Destination ImagiNation®. Everyone who attended witnessed solutions which displayed creativity and divergent thought. This year the Global Finals were held at the University of Tennessee. There were 991 teams with more than 5900 students participating. In addition there were about 400 Appraisers and officials and an additional 10,000 supporters, parents, and other guests. Fifteen countries were represented including the US, Canada, Guatemala, Venezuela, United Kingdom, Brazil, Korea, Singapore, Poland, Denmark, Colombia, Turkey, Mexico, China, and Korea.
