Hello from MT DI!
The 2023-24 DI season is now officially open! We are looking forward to welcoming teams and seeing their fantastic solutions to the new challenges.
Students who participate in DI become better at creative and critical thinking, collaboration, and idea generation.
How can you do DI?
You can join as an independent team, through your school, or through a community organization. Learn more from these videos:

Starting a team
Check the array of creative adventures in store this season with this year’s challenge previews!
Get a team number and start the challenge experience at Destination Imagination’s web registration. Team numbers are $165, and there’s an additional $15 Montana affiliate fee.
All team managers are required to complete a background check before working with their team.

Important Dates
- February 24, 2024 – Affiliate Tournament at Bryant Elementary in Helena.
- May 22-25, 2024 – Global Finals in Kansas City, MO (for qualifying teams). Details to come!
Volunteer
- Interested in being a trainer or appraiser? MT DI is looking for folks to help with training teams and team managers, and to appraise at tournaments. Calling all retired team managers and interested community members: there are lots of opportunities to be part of MT DI.
